Rip Off
Reviewer: Maggie
Deceptive marketing strategy: unlimited tanning for $20/month, but that is for only one level of bed. For all other tanning levels, there are additional fees. Rooms are tiny, beds are old (though they claim the bulbs are new), Stereos don't work on any of the beds. Staff are indifferent. For a stand alone business you would think that they would try to please their customers but they make most of their money from the 'no shows'. RIP OFF. Find somewhere else, this isn't worth your time and money.

No Stars
Reviewer: Tanner
This was the worst tanning experience I have ever had in my life. The beds were dirty, and the owner was rude. They tried to pressure me into buying additional stuff that I did not want to buy. There are many tanning places that can have my business, but this is not one of them. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Tan Man
Reviewer: Steve
The place is a dump!! Dirty, sweaty beds in need of cleaning. Rude, incompetent owners who rip people off. Their best beds are worse than competitors worst beds. Do the research and you'll see.
All in all...I'd rather eat from a dumpster than go back to that hole again.
On a scale of 1 to 10...I'd give them a minus 200 !!

Pride in Excellent Customer Service
Reviewer: Steve
Wendy and Holly are friends and came in together. They bought a membership and I showed them several of the California Tan lotions that we carry. We found the lotion that was right for them and they said they were going to buy it next time and share it. We hold people's lotions here for them as a free service to our tanners. We know all about the California Tan Products, as we are a Premier Cal Tan Salon and have been selling their products for 17 years. I gave them above and beyond excellent customer service, as I always try to do. A little while after they left, they called me and asked which one I had recommended to them. I asked if they were looking for it on the internet and told them when they come back in we could discuss it further. It is very difficult to discuss lotions over the phone because they cannot see, touch, or feel it; Especially when they are going to shop for it here, and purchase it from somewhere else. We definitely don't recommend buying lotion off the internet, it is often used, contaminated, topped off with water, refilled with jergens, and/or not the right lotion for you. I was not rude, and have not been rude to them since. They both still tanned here on a regular basis with no mention of their dissatisfaction with customer service and their 60$ lasted them several months. We confronted them about these reviews of us and asked if they were unhappy with our services. They said no and told us we were great and they were very happy tanning here. They said it must have been their parents that posted these reviews and told us that they would post new a review saying something good about us. They signed up in early March, we saw this review and confronted them in mid May. They cancelled shortly after. They have since posted nothing to make up for the damaging remarks about our salon, So I feel I have to do so. I wish them no harm and hope the best for both of them. They were actually very nice and we really liked them. We were surprised when we saw this review. If you want more info about our salon, please see us at www.facebook.com/tanlines .

rude.
Reviewer: Holly
I agree with Hope and Wendizzle; the customer service was a fascade. They reel you in and take your money. Then after you've spent it all, they withhold information and act very rude if you buy your lotion cheaper from someplace else.

mixed signals
Reviewer: Wendizzle
I went for the first time and they were SO NICE!!! But then when i got home i called them because i had a question about the different lotions and they were SO RUDE. It was like totally different personalities. The "nice" act is just to get you to buy their membership, and then once you do the customer service goes out the window. I want my $60 back

This was the worst tanning salon I have ever been to. I tan very often and have never had a problem with customer service until I visited this salon. I do not recommend this salon to ANYONE. The horrible customer service and the gimics really made me appalled by the way this store was run.
